The Story of the Red Cabinet

It all started when my girlfriend bought me a red Marshall 1972 Super Bass Head. I needed a red cabinet now, but a 1970's cab would cost a fortune and would be beat probably. So when we were up at the Marshall factory on a tour we asked about a custom red cabinet being built. They said it could be done luckily enough. So we ordered a Classic red 4x12 with 25 watt Celestian speakers, checkerboard grill, gold piping and a small gold logo. Marshall even let us come and test the cabinet when it was finished at the factory. I cranked it up with a Les Paul and rocked the factory with Red Power! The cabinet sounded awesome!
When we got it home we plugged it in to the 1972 head. WOW! Lookout! Superb combination. The best sound ever.

The fine people at Marshall had done it again. Another satisfied customer. Thankyou to all at Marshall a job well done. (Don't they always) Also, thankyou to my girlfriend, Lorraine, for my best ever Christmas present!

Lorraine and myself meet our 'special order'.
(Just the cabinet not the head of course, which was taken
brand new out of it's box so we could use it for our test)

George cranks it! And yes..George is a girl.

Testing the cabinet with a Marshall 50 watt JCM 2000. It sounded great!
